What began as a quiet passion—a creative escape from life's grim realities—soon spiraled into an obsession.

I was first captivated by the innovative combat of Nimble by Evan Diaz. Like him, I found traditional TTRPG combat often felt slow, and the frustration of a wasted turn on a miss, profoundly disappointing.

But my design journey went deeper. I yearned for a system where character mastery wasn't rigid. What if you could truly embody your vision, choosing abilities that fit your unique path, unbound by predefined roles? If casters picked spells, why couldn't warriors sculpt their own martial prowess, every ability chosen, every strength earned?

The core challenge became: How to design a deeply customizable TTRPG where every player choice feels meaningful, every resource precious, and every consequence visceral, all while maintaining balance?

And so, Anina Games was born. This is how we began forging a game where your legend is truly your own.
